I’ve seen this question asked so many times in various forums that I decided to put up a permanent response here. Here’s the question along with my response:

I’ve Heard About People Making Money Working Online With “affiliate Programs” And Other Things So I’d Like To Know If Someone Could Give Me Some Tips On What Is The Best Way To Make Money Online And How To Do It. I Mean What Kind Of Program Or Business.Thank You All For Your Comments
Ok, first things first. I know how those bills can seem a bit overwhelming sometimes, but don’t let that lead you into wasting precious time looking at all the “make money fast” offers you will definitely see online.
There is absolutely NO WAY TO MAKE MONEY FAST online! The key word being FAST. You can make money online but it will take time to start earning enough to start putting towards bills and what not. We’ll talking months here depending on your ability to invest.
Affliate programs are the best way for people with no product or service of their own to make money online. Affiliate programs allow you to promote other people’s products or services and earn a commission on each sale. Companies like ClickBank or Commission Junction let you join for free and you can find products to recommend to others and earn commissions from each sale.
Residual affiliate programs are even better because they allow you to earn recurring income from just one sale. These programs usually charge you a monthly fee, but everytime you refer a new client, you earn a monthly commission. A good example of a residual income program would be web site hosting. I love these type programs because they are usually something that you and everyone else can actually use so you aren’t wasting money on a product or service that’s basically useless.
Paid Survey and Paid-to-Click (PTC) programs are the latest online fad for making money. In a nutshell, with the Paid Survey programs, you become a member, complete a few surveys and get paid. Depending on what surveys you complete, you could make a couple hundred dollars a month. Personally, I don’t like them because I don’t like completing surveys. If you live in the U.S. it usually means your mailbox will get filled with more junk mail.
With PTC programs, you become a member of a site, view a few ads (15-30 seconds) and earn up to $0.02 for each ad viewed. Doesn’t sound like much and it isn’t until you start referring others (or purchase referrals) and earn from their actions as well. There are plenty of legitimate PTC programs out there, but I believe you will find more scams than legit ones, so be cautious with each one you join.
What I would suggest for you to get started without any out-of-pocket expenses:
#1 Join some of the PTC programs and start viewing ads and earning. Preferrably, look for the ones that don’t take a month or longer to payout.
#2 Join some Paid Survey programs and use any earnings to purchase some referrals in your favorite PTC programs. This will increase your monthly earnings.
#3 As your monthly earnings grow and you are in profit, look for a residual income program to join. These programs usually take longer to build a referral base, so your profits from the PTC programs will offset the cost of the affiliate program until you’re in profit again.
By this time, you should be making enough to put towards the bills and if you’re lucky enough, going on more vacations.
